Who it's for

Studying for SAT

Math and Reading and Writing, from the gap behind the wrong answer to test day.

  • Finds the gap behind the miss

Most missed math questions come down to linear equations, ratios or percentages. The tutor finds which one before explaining the rest.

  • Work it out by hand

Write your steps on the board and the tutor reads each one, showing where the reasoning slipped.

  • Review up to test day

What you learned in the spring comes back as a question just before you'd forget it.

How it works

First it listens.
Then it teaches.

A tutor that starts by explaining loses both those who already knew and those who didn't know the basics yet. Saberi starts with you.

  1. 1

Finds out what you already know

Before explaining, the tutor asks a few quick questions. You mark how sure you are of each answer: a lucky guess doesn't count as knowing.

  2. 2

Makes a plan with only what's missing

From that, it maps the way to your goal and skips what you've already got. The lesson map shows where you are and what comes next.

  3. 3

Teaches one step at a time

Every explanation ends in a question, and the next only comes once the idea has settled. Answer on the board and the tutor reads your work, not just the result.

Features

For studying,
not for chatting.

Say the answer

In the desktop app, coming soon: the text appears as you speak, and the transcription runs on the computer itself, so the audio never leaves it.

Study from your PDF

Import your class notes or the textbook. The tutor teaches from them and tells you which page each thing came from.

Review before you forget

Every idea you learn comes back as a question just before you'd forget it. A few minutes a day, with your streak in sight.

See what you know

Everything you learn becomes a map of ideas linked to the ones that came before. The color shows what's solid and what needs review; a click takes you back to the explanation.

  • Practice without rails. Mixed problems, without saying which method to use, with a hint only when you're stuck.
  • Real formulas. Fractions, integrals and matrices are typeset, like in the textbook.
  • One search for everything. Ctrl K finds anything you've studied: conversations, ideas and PDF pages.

FAQ

Before
you start.

Which subjects does it work for?

Any subject you learn through explanation and practice: math, physics, chemistry, biology, programming, languages, law, history. Formulas are typeset, like in the textbook.

Does it work for the SAT, AP exams and the MCAT?

Yes. You say what you want to study and what for, and the tutor adjusts the level and the examples. For the MCAT and college, import your prep books, notes or slides as PDFs and study from them. For AP essays, it explains the rubric and comments on your text.

Does it replace my prep course?

It doesn't have to. Saberi has no video lessons: many people watch their prep course's lesson and then study with the tutor, which asks, corrects and makes them review what stuck. Those who study alone use their own PDF material.

Will it do my homework or essay for me?

No. The tutor explains, asks and comments on what you did, but it doesn't hand over solved problem sets or finished essays. That's how what you study stays with you on exam day.

Do I need internet?

Yes. Saberi opens in the browser, and the tutor uses an AI model in the cloud. The desktop app, coming soon, keeps your sessions on the computer itself and takes dictation offline.

Where does my data go?

In the browser, your sessions, PDFs and progress are kept in your account on Saberi's server, and they're removed when you delete the account. For the tutor to answer, the relevant part of the conversation goes to the AI model (Anthropic) only to write the reply.

Why do I need an account?

It's where your plan and the month's tutor use are kept. You sign in with email and password; the email is confirmed once, with a code, when the account is created.

What happens when the trial ends?

Studying stops: there's no free plan. Lessons, review and new PDFs are locked until you subscribe, and nothing is charged, because the trial doesn't ask for a card. What you studied stays in your account: you can reread sessions, see the idea map and export everything. When you subscribe, you pick up where you left off.

Why is there only one trial?

So that the trial can keep existing: each one costs us, and without a limit you could make a new account every week. So it's one per browser or computer. Saberi keeps only an anonymous code for it, never your name or your files.

How do I pay for Pro?

By card, as a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime. Or with Pix: 1 month, or 12 months with 3 months free, which can also be paid in up to 12 card installments. Payments go through AbacatePay.By card, as a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime, or 12 months paid once, with 3 months free.By card, as a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime, or 12 months paid once, with 3 months free.

Where does it work?

In any up-to-date browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari), on a computer or a phone. On a phone, the board opens full screen so you can work with your finger. The app for Windows, macOS and Linux is coming soon, with voice dictation running on the computer.

Is it available in English and Spanish?

Yes. The site and the app are in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and the tutor teaches in the language you choose.
